Description of Duties:

Provide superior Damage Control services and products of Phoenix Group to the customer, per contract specifications.  Position entails the planning and execution oversight of assigned DCIMSS projects.  Responsible and accountable for conduct and performance of DCIMSS installation.
A minimum of eight years (with technical Degree) or ten years (without technical Degree) of increasingly responsible leadership and managerial experience involving complex engineering or technical projects, including, but not limited to; labor utilization, cost controls, inventory management, planning, scheduling, design, installation, quality assurance, maintenance, repair, safety, testing, upgrades, overhauls and documentation. 

Project Manager and technical professional who applies comprehensive oversight and knowledge of industrial practices, labor and cost/resource management and controls, contract execution, planning and scheduling software tools and methodologies, concept development, working principles, analysis, designs, and requirements generation/interpretation in specific and applicable technical fields.  Works effectively with both individuals and groups creating and sustaining team building, employee morale, and retention   Plans, coordinates, and is responsible for work production operations of each assigned Project to meet changing environments and/or emergent requirements.  Integrates all Prime and Subordinate contractor team members, industrial work activities, and various resources of all involved organizational segments.  With maximum initiative and minimal supervision, plans, conducts, leads, and accomplishes DCIMSS installation.  Provides direction, guidance, and assistance in coordinating individual Project’s tasks resulting in full technical adequacy and superior quality product and service delivered to the customer.  Responsible for full compliance with all technical, safety, regulatory requirements and standards in assigned DCIMSS projects.  

A minimum of eight to ten years in-depth experience in managing major engineering or related technical programs directly associated with Damage Control systems. Must have current and relevant experience involving design, documentation, installation, modification, repair, testing, operation, upgrades and maintenance of these systems.

Special Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of eight years of successful, hands-on experience in an engineering or related technical field.  U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Merchant Marine (Engineer Licensed), other military service, or maritime commercial industry experience of a minimum of ten years may be considered, in part or whole, as equivalent satisfaction of position requirements.
