Description of Duties:

Phoenix Group is seeking qualified personnel with US Navy, USCG shipboard experience with shipboard magazine sprinkler systems, installed firefighting systems to support Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center in conducting shipboard assessments. 

Working knowledge of Navy Assessment programs, inspections, visit processes and reporting methods for visits 

Able to use accepted current instrumentation for diagnosing equipment 

Able to interpret ship’s drawings, wiring diagrams and control schematics 

Able to use computers and MS Office Suite, able to transfer digital pictures from camera to computer and enhance and label them 

Able to interact and support other teams 

Able to communicate orally and in writing 

Provide assessment support to various MARMC for various shipboard assessments and technical assistance for installed firefighting, magazine sprinkler systems. 

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of magazine sprinkler and installed fixed firefighting systems.   

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the operation, repair, maintenance and assessment support of magazine sprinkler systems and related controls. 

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the operation, repair, maintenance and assessment support of US Naval Ships’ Fixed firefighting systems, to include, but not be limited to, Halon, CO2, AFFF, Water Mist 

Special Requirements:

High School Diploma 

Certified Magazine Sprinkler System Inspector IAW MSSI Requirements
