Description of Duties:

Phoenix Group is seeking qualified personnel with US Navy USCG shipboard experience with shipboard magazine

sprinkler systems, installed firefighting systems to support Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center in conducting

shipboard assessments.

Working knowledge of Navy Assessment programs, inspections, visit processes and reporting methods for visits

Able to use accepted current instrumentation for diagnosing equipment

Able to interpret ship’s drawings, wiring diagrams and control schematics

Able to use computers and MS Office Suite, able to transfer digital pictures from camera to computer and enhance

and label them

Able to interact and support other teams

Able to communicate orally and in writing

Provide assessment support to various MARMC for various shipboard assessments and technical assistance for

installed firefighting, magazine sprinkler systems.

Minimum of 4 years’ specialized hands on experience supporting galley/laundry assessments.

Minimum of 4 years’ specialized hands on experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance and inspection

support of US Naval Ships’ electrical components and equipment used in commissary spaces, ship’s laundry, and

self-serve laundry.

Minimum of 4 years’ specialized hands on experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance and inspection

support of US Naval Ships ‘grease extractor hoods, interaction between the equipment it services, (e.g., griddles,

deep fat fryer exhaust), vent dampers for the galley A{PC fire extinguishing system and all related controls.

Knowledge of controlling NAVSEA/SAVSUPP Mil Specs and requirement for commissary systems and specifications.
