Minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience in maintenance of NAVY systems/equipment. .Minimum of six (6) months experience supporting maintenance or assessments on NAVY ships, or six (6) months experience as a 3MC. Ability to communicate effectively to upper NAVY management both orally and in writing.

•Reviews MAI agenda recommendation and produces the final agenda that is sent back to the TYCOM for approval. (Approximately 120 days before the visit). Brokers the B9 TSRA event tasks from VSB to TAAS-INFO. Assigns the ICMP tasks to the appropriate branch and coordinates assignment of technical code SMEs. Provides the MAI broken down by system/subsystem assignments to the VST for the VST to develop the SME package.
•Conducts a visit pre-brief with ship’s management (two to three weeks before the event starts). Conducts daily briefs during the event with ship’s management. Conducts a formal out brief with ship’s management (three to five days after the last day of the event).
•Composes a prerequisites and test requirements message (must be released three weeks before the event). Composes an end of visit message (must be released within ten working days of the last day of the event). Provides ship’s management with a Readiness to Commence message template for the ship to complete and release (must be released by the ship five days prior to the event).
•Coordinates with the VST performing logistics validation, data entry and data collection support functions. Coordinates with the SMEs providing system support as well as ship’s force work center personnel. Reviews all MAF forms turned in by the SME’s. Reviews daily brief package provided by the VST for accuracy before the daily brief. Determines, in concert with ship’s force, the correct maintenance level to correct the repair 2-Kilos (conducts this daily with ship’s management).
•Provides to the Code 211 Branch Head or others as directed the required metrics to improve TSRA planning and execution.
•Closes out the visit in TAAS-INFO within 30 days of event completion. Tasks completed will be closed and tasks not completed will be reassigned to a follow on timeframe.
•Augments/assists the Project Team in A1 mandatory assessment task accomplishment by attending the following ship cycle events:
•C+70 meeting to discuss the status of outstanding A1 mandatory tasks.
•Life Cycle Planning Conference (LCPC) at C+150 to determine when all mandatory tasks will get scheduled throughout the next OFRP cycle.
•A-410 BAWP Mid-Cycle Review to ensure A1 mandatory tasks are tracking and provide status on completions.
•A-360 Integrated Project Team Development (IPTD) meeting to acquaint all members of the project team and discuss work for the CNO availability including the status of the remaining A1 mandatory tasks.
•80% Work Package Integration Conference (WPIC) to verify all A1 mandatory tasks remaining are scheduled in the cycle to be completed.
•A-30 Work Package Execution Review (WPER) to ensure all A1 mandatories assigned to the CNO availability are included in the CNO schedules.
