Description of Duties:

Phoenix Group of Virginia is looking for a qualified candidate to act a Logistician/Trainer for a large worldwide material management contract supporting Military Sealift Command in Norfolk, VA. 

Minimum Requirements
• 15 years of experience providing warehouse support services to MSC, DOD, U.S. Coast Guard, or commercial ship operating companies.
• 10 years of experience in material identification and sourcing material from commercial or federal sources
• 10 years of experience in material order submission, tracking, and expediting using DoD and Navy Military Standard Requisitioning & Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) or Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Logistics Management Standards (DLMS) requisition transactions
• 10 years of experience in material shipping, monitoring, tracing, and tracking using both commercial sources and the Defense Transportation System (DTS) for CONUS and OCONUS delivery
• 10 years of experience conducting shipboard inventories, developing storeroom mock- ups, layout, and supporting material on-loads and off-loads
• 6 years of experience using MSC CMLS Inventory System preferred. DOD, Merchant Marine, U.S. Coast Guard or commercial warehouse inventory systems acceptable but must be fluent in CMLS within 30 of contract award.
• 6 years of experience using DOD, Merchant Marine, U.S. Coast Guard or commercial In-Transit Visibility tools for inventory tracking purposes
• 6 years of experience setting up and creating a functioning warehouse and transportation operation
• 4 years of experience creating and teaching curriculum and training aids in support of warehousing and transportation operations
• Must hold current trainer fork truck operator’s certificate and license
• Must hold current U.S Passport

Special Requirements:

Education, Certificates
• High School
• Graduate of military supply/logistics training course desired
• Graduate of instructional technology training course desired
• Master Instructor Certification (Navy/Coast Guard) desired
