Description of Duties:

Develop a method to predict the likelihood of need for materials in a CVN industrial availability, using data from Navy databases including: M&SWP, MAT, MRQT and AIM.

Increase the accuracy and automation of the existing Microsoft Access database that creates data submission files to the CVN material forecast process.

Manage the material forecast processes for the CVN modernization and industrial maintenance. Management shall include: process analysis and improvements for first-time data acceptance on file submissions; resolve line item rejections; maintain forecast data integrity, as tasked, prepare and deliver project reports, briefs, metrics and respond to assigned action items.

A minimum of eight years’ experience performing data cleansing and predictive analysis combining data from legacy sources using JMP.

Special Requirements:

Military Experience:
• Aircraft Carrier maintenance and modernization experience highly desired.
• Shipyard production experience with knowledge of work package development and material ordering.
• Statistical analysis on modeling.

Education: Associates of Science degree in an engineering, business, or related technical disciplines from an accredited four-year college or university or eight years of hands-on experience in an engineering field.

Specialized Skills:
o Predictive analysis and modeling using JMP software.
o Advanced Microsoft Access database skills including programming with VBA.
o Advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills.
o Proficiency with remaining Microsoft Office products.
o Excellent communication (oral and written) skills required.
o Excellent leadership, administrative and organizational skills.
o Strong analytical skill.
o Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure, multi-tasking environment.
o Ability to interact comfortably and appropriately with all levels of government, military ranks and civilian equivalents.
o Expert knowledge and experience with industry-standard project management tools, documentation and reporting tools.
o Proficient handling and managing DoD Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
o Knowledge of Naval Shipyard Maintenance management software and databases.
