Maritime First Responders Unite: Phoenix Group Joins 19th Annual SAR Forum

On Thursday February 27th, Phoenix Group of Virginia's Growth Division Team member Stephen Clock proudly attended and exhibited at the prestigious 19th Annual Steven Todd Dooley Search and Rescue (SAR) Forum. This maritime event is collaboratively organized and led by the Port of Virginia's Maritime Incident Response Team, United States Coast Guard Sector Virginia, and the dedicated SAR Planning Staff.

The comprehensive forum attracted an impressive turnout of 39 specialized vessels and 195 highly-trained crew members representing various Police and Fire Marine Units from across the region. These professionals participated in the week-long forum featuring intensive training sessions and valuable knowledge exchange opportunities. Approximately 15 industry vendors, including Phoenix Group, actively participated in the dedicated vendor exhibition day, showcasing their cutting-edge first responder products and solutions designed to enhance maritime search and rescue operations. The event served as a vital platform for networking and strengthening partnerships within the maritime emergency response community.
