Waterfront Engineering Support

Program Management and engineering support in designing and developing innovative methods for Aircraft Carrier maintenance readiness improvements during the ship’s mid-life RCOH. We employ tools and methodologies to deliver a comprehensive solution that integrates predictive analytics, risk management, and modern engineering practices to ensure the Government-sponsored maintenance readiness and progress are communicated, evaluated, and enhanced to improve the on-time completion of individual and groups of work packages. Our approach draws from several capabilities to access, aggregate, interpret and publish work performance, engineering and technical data and make it readily available to relevant stakeholders. Phoenix Group has introduced advanced analytical and risk avoidance tools in an ongoing ship overhaul conducted in the privately owned, Huntington Ingalls Industries – Newport News Shipyard (HII-NNS) facility.

Carrier Transition Team

Carrier Transition Team

Program Management and engineering support to leverage commercial industry best practices, tools, and emerging technologies to optimize processes that improve organizational production, maintenance, and sustainment outcomes on Navy Aircraft Carriers in a private shipyard. Current maintenance and shipbuilding program processes are be evaluated to generate maintenance planning and execution process improvements. These improvements are helping to better anticipate maintenance requirements and create more accurate work packages that optimize current program schedules and budgets. In addition, we are consolidating and streamlining facility and supply chain inefficiencies, identifying, and implementing new workforce development and training requirements, and sharing best practices and approaches across Program Executive Office (PEO) Carriers, NNS and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
