Phoenix Group Showcases Innovation at Naval Damage Control 2025 Conference in Southampton

The Phoenix Group proudly participated in the Naval Damage Control 2025 Conference, held from September 30th to October 2nd in Southampton, UK. This prestigious three-day event brought together a global community of professionals dedicated to advancing the fields of naval firefighting, survivability, and damage control.
Now in its latest iteration, the conference attracted over 250 delegates from more than 35 nations, creating a rich environment for the exchange of knowledge, innovation, and practical solutions. With a focus on real-world application, the event featured over 30 expert-led presentations, highlighting real-world case studies, emerging technologies, and modernized training methodologies aimed at improving safety and survivability at sea.
For the first time, Phoenix Group both exhibited and attended the conference, marking an exciting milestone for the organization. Representing the company were Mike Bates, Emergency Response Program Manager, and Stephen Clock, Sales Director. Their presence at the event allowed Phoenix Group to engage directly with international partners, naval experts, and decision-makers from across the maritime sector.
At the exhibition, Phoenix Group proudly displayed its Damage Control Inventory Management Stowage System (DCIMSS)—a comprehensive solution designed to enhance onboard damage control readiness. In addition, the team introduced a new innovation: the Shipboard Multi-Tool, which was met with enthusiasm and generated strong interest among attendees.
Phoenix Group’s participation generated overwhelmingly positive reception, resulting in significant interest in its line of damage control products and services. Bates and Clock are currently conducting follow-up outreach with the new contacts established during the conference, with the goal of scheduling further discussions and exploring collaborative opportunities.
Looking ahead, Phoenix Group has already started preparations for the 2026 Naval Damage Control Conference in the UK, reaffirming its commitment to contributing to the evolution of damage control and maritime safety solutions worldwide.
